We invite you to the webinar “Against the Holocaust: Jewish Resistance. Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and examples from the Vilnius region”.

The webinar dedicated to Jewish resistance to the Holocaust as exemplified by the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and various forms of Jewish resistance in the Vilnius region (Lithuania) will be held online on 29 March 2023, 3 pm CEST (Brussles time). The event is part of the international remembrance campaign: https://www.warsaw1943.pl/en/.

During the webinar the organisers will present:
• primary sources (photos, documents, maps, poems)
• teaching resources (infographics, lesson plans)
• guidelines on how to address this topic in the classroom that could be used in the preparation of a lesson about Jewish resistance to the Holocaust.

The speakers are:
• Justyna Majewska, PhD (Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw)
• Daniela Ozacky-Stern, PhD (Bar-Ilan University, Western Galilee College)

The meeting will take place on 29 March 2023 at 3 pm CEST. It will be held on Zoom platform in English.
